Fantastic Staff, Awesome rooms and great location!

We stayed here for a few nights during our stay in Hanoi after stumbling upon it by chance! We arrived in town late at night without any reservation and initially checked out it's sister hotel before being offered a great deal at the Luxury Hotel. It;s a real hidden gem, tucked away up a side street, nice and quiet and staff were amazing! Super polite and really helpful! Basic breakfast was included in the price...we opted for the Western Style with me being Vegetarian which was a weird little combo: bread and butter with a thick sprinkling of sugar and hot ice tea!!!
Great location, walking distance to the lake and plenty of cafes and restaurants around!
They offer a booking service for tours and we went on one of their's to Halong Bay which was great!
There's free internet in the lobby also!
Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, nice big bathroom, really comfortable and newly furnished!
Highly reccomended, top class staff and an overall great experience!

Would recommend it to anyone

We arrived here after our reservation at another hotel didn't come through, and I am SO glad! This hidden hotel (bring a map or at least make sure you look it up first) in the back of a small alley in the backpacker district, near the church is truly a little gem. Quite spacious rooms and bathroom, an elevator, free breakfast and internet, etc. And most of all: I haven't met more friendly and sweet staff anywhere in Vietnam, very helpful, offering you drinks even when only sitting behind the computer.

I would recommend anyone staying at this hotel. These people really deserve it. Not only because of their friendliness and outstanding hospitality, but service is great too.
Keep up the good work! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Best little hotel in Hanoi with the greatest staff and

First of all, after traveling one month in all of Vietnam, we can say that the staff at the Luxury was the greatest, friendliest, most helpful staff we had in Vietnam. Wow. Just wow. So happy, helpful and friendly that after staying 11 days at the hotel we still miss them and the fun we had with them when we think of them once back home. We were sent to the Luxury by another hotel that we had booked because it was full and thank god we did, how lucky for us we ended at the Luxury ! It's a quiet little hotel hidden at the end of a little alley road so absolutely no noise from the street and great for sleeping even in the middle of busy Hanoi near Hoan Kiem lake. It has internet in the lobby (two computers with quick connection), as soon as you sit down you are offered a drink of water, tea... and wifi in the rooms. The breakfast is included and very nice. We stayed in a great room on the 8th floor, great big room, big windows with a view on the balcony, nicely furnished and super clean, with a great view of the city and it's rooftops. All for around 20$ a night. But the greatest thing about the hotel is really the staff. Everybody, from the maids, receptionists to the manager were soooooo friendly and helpful. We made friends with all of them. They helped us book a trip to Along Bay and the company and boat they recommended was AAAAmmazing. During our 11 days stay we planed all of our many activities with the hotel (Along bay, perfume pagoda, museums, etc), even our taxi rides everywhere in the city and they got us the very best service and prices ranges our money could buy and explained everything to us in great details. We can't recommand this litlle gem of a hotel enough.

Friendly and accomodating staff; convenient, quiet

We stayed at the Luxury for four nights out of total of nine nights in Vietnam (took several side trips while using Hanoi as our home base). The staff was vary accomodating about keeping our unused luggage while we traveled, and always made an effort to keep us in the same room upon our return. While the hotel was hard to find at the end of a small street, the secluded location resulted in a quiet room in busy and noisy Hanoi.

Our favorite memory of our stay was the consistently friendly and helpful staff. They were eager to assist us in any way possible and always brought a glass of water or juice whenever we came into the reception area. The rooms were clean and spacious although modestly appointed. Breakfast was included either Western or Vietnamese food with lots of fresh fruit

Great service, wonderful rooms and staff, convenient location.

For the price of $20/night (double)--or for that matter any price--you are not going to find a nicer, cleaner, friendlier hotel. The staff speak good English and are incredibly helpful, not only with one's stay in Hanoi, but with any tour booking you may be interested in, such as Halong Bay and Sapa. They can do it all. I have travelled the world and cannot recall getting better value for my money with lodging anywhere else. What's more, a good breakfast is included in the price of the room.
